In the UNESCO declaration, the economic, natural and cultural elements that reflect the tenacity and work of several generations of coffee growers in the Colombian coffee zone were taken into account.

After the Declaration of the Coffee Cultural Landscape, there has been a tourist boom of the 3 departments of the Coffee Zone, especially in Quindio, home of the main tourist attractions of the coffee zone.

Consequently, there is a new awareness on the part of the tourist businessmen and the traditional coffee producers, in the commercialization of special coffees of Quindío origin. I There are also several tours about the coffee process, among which we highlight the following routes:

Hotels in the Coffee Cultural Landscape

Visitors to the villages that make up the Coffee Cultural Landscape, prefer to stay especially in the traditional Coffee Farms, houses of great architectural richness and beautiful color.

«Las Fincas», as these accommodations are called, are houses that preserve the architectural features of the Antioquia culture, which date from the colonization carried out by the carriers of Antioquia, to the Departments of the «Old Caldas» today Caldas, Risaralda and Quindío.
